Doseerbeker

Doseerbeker

The Meraki espresso dosing cup keeps ground coffee contained between grinding and the portafilter. Its stainless steel interior and smooth rim support cleaner, more controlled dose transfer, with black and white options to match your setup.

Collect the grounds, place the cup over the basket and transfer without compressing them. Then distribute and finish with the Meraki Tamper.

FAQ

What is an espresso dosing cup used for?

It catches and transfers coffee beans or grounds, helping reduce spills and keep the dose together between workflow steps.

Does a dosing cup improve extraction?

Not by itself. Its benefit is cleaner, more repeatable handling; grind, dose and puck preparation determine extraction.

Can I use a dosing cup instead of a tamper?

No. A dosing cup transfers coffee, while a tamper compresses the final prepared puck.

Do I need a separate scale with Meraki?

No. Meraki has built-in grind-by-weight and brew-by-weight scales. The dosing cup remains useful for transfer and coffee changes.
